Altering Tulu Tulu Lolita Hoop Skirt

This wasn't going to be my next post buuuut, today I finally got the chance to work on something crafty after soooo long, and I'm so excited! So I decided to write about this, instead of the original post I had in mind. As I said in my previous post , I wanted to alter this hoop skirt because it was a tad longer than what I wanted it. Basically, the hoop skirt measured around ~49cm and I wanted it to be around 45, so I can wear it in my natural waistline, with shorter skirts and more casual dresses. As you can see, I didn't do anything fancy, but definitely something way better than my first rushy attempt 😂 The first step was to remove the lace from the hem. I used my favorite tool, the legendary seam ripper that I always have around because I oftentimes have to undo my stitches.  I love this tool so much. Hello everyone, Thanks for visiting my blog. This is my first review. I plan to make one for all the items I have and plan to have. I think it can be very useful for beginner lolitas, and for me, as well 🤣, so I can practice my English fufuf. Today's review is a hoop skirt by Tulu Tulu Lolita! It is called the "Adjustable petticoat" or "The EVERYWHERE chiffon adjustable petticoat". I got the regular size (65 to 90cm waist), in white. It was $35 USD, including airmail shipping, which was surprisingly fast considering all the delays because of the pandemic. Tulu Tulu Lolita is on Store Envy , but they also list their hoop skirts on Lacemarket . I got mine from Lacemarket.
